  2. SYMPTOMS. There will be soft, yellowish, fat spots on the eyelids.
  3. CAUSES are from a genetic disorder of fat metabolism (called Type II
  4. Hyperlipoproteinemia) which leads to fat deposits on the eyelids and high
  5. cholesterol levels.
  6. TREATMENT. Special diet or drugs to lower cholesterol may be prescribed.
  7. .Surgery to remove the eyelid spots may be needed.
